Founded in 1877 the course occupies its' fourth and present location between Airdrie and Glenmavis, North Lanarkshire, off the A73, 4 miles south of Cumbernauld. It is a private club of undulating parkland with 18 holes and a par of 69. Many of the holes designed in 1939 by Mr James Braid incorpoate the crossing of a picturesque burn, from an elevated tee on two occasions.

In the years 2000 and 2001 the greens were completely rebuilt to U.S.G.A standard. We recently celebrated our 125th Jubilee in 2002. In 2003 we held a Pro-AM involving 42 professional golfers, many of whom recently played in the Scottish Tartan Tour.

Visitors are very welcome, prior arrangements being made with the professional. The green fees at present being from £25 per round or only £30 per day. Bar and catering facilities available. (Monday limited catering)
