Founded in 1877 the course occupies its' fourth and present location between Airdrie and Glenmavis, North Lanarkshire, off the A73, 4 miles south of Cumbernauld. It is a private club of undulating parkland with 18 holes and a par of 69. Many of the holes designed in 1939 by Mr James Braid incorpoate the crossing of a picturesque burn, from an elevated tee on two occasions.
Visitors
are very welcome, prior arrangements being made with the professional. The green
fees at present being from £25 per round or only £30 per day. Bar and catering
facilities available. (Monday limited catering)
