Address: Sannox Gardens, Alexandra Park, Glasgow, G31 8SE

This delightful little nine-holer is ideally located just half a mile from Glasgow and is perfect for a quick round while your other half enjoys the joys of the city close by. It is easily accessible, just of the M8 and is real test for any golfer. A slightly hilly parkland course, Alexandra Park has a few surprises in store for all those who take her on – despite being just nine holes long.

A main feature of the course has to be the superb par-3’s, some of which are a real test stretching over 200-yards from tee to green. On a windy day, club selection there can vary from a 4-iron to a 9-iron and is one of the things that make this such an interesting course to play – the changing direction of the wind means it isn’t played the same twice.

At barely 4,000 yards for 18 holes there, and a par of 60, this will be an easy course for the big hitters among you but still remains great fun.
