Easter Moffat Golf Club, located in North Lanarkshire, 2 miles to the east of Airdrie, possesses an enjoyable layout currently reaping the benefits of recent, extensive course improvements. Founded in 1922 by local golf enthusiasts, Easter Moffat was originally conceived as a nine-hole course. 1945 saw the course extended to 18 holes, and as membership and interest has increased, the listed clubhouse building has seen renovation to offer a comfortable and relaxing setting for players to unwind after their round.

Easter Moffat is a combination of aspects of parkland and moorland style golf courses. Tee areas provide excellent views over the surrounding Campsie and Ochil Hills. He fairways are generous though rewarding of considered course management and accurate approach play. The signature hole is undoubtedly the par-3 18th, played from an elevated tee to a green in full view of an audience in the clubhouse.

Visitors are welcome to Easter Moffat during the week. An active membership encouraged by the quality of the course means it is always advisable to reserve your time with the club professional’s shop.
