The course at Grangemouth was opened in 1974 making it one of the youngest in Scotland. Since then the course has played host to numerous PGA events, an indication of how highly the course is rated. There is no doubt that this is one of the best municipal courses in Scotland. With holes such as the long par 3, 7th hole over the water, the 8th (a superb dog-leg) and a challenging final hole at 18.

Grangemouth is clearly a course which you have to think your way round. With the condition of the course constantly improving, Grangemouth is a test of golf for beginners and more experienced golfers. Play well and enjoy your round.
