The Kames Mouse Valley Course is a rare breed in that it is a completely visitor friendly championship course. It is an open course that combines a distinct links feel with the lush fairways of a parkland course. You can enjoy stunning panoramic views of Tinto and the Pentland Hills from much of the coast. The club recently hosted the west of Scotland amateur team championship.

The signature hole of the course would be the par 3 14th, affectionately known as Oh'Dear. Your task is to land your ball on a small green, over the river and avoiding the stream which runs by the side and round the back of the hole. The 9th is also a fine test with the river running parallel for the whole length. The green appears to wrap itself around a small lake positioned beside it. Although a long and superbly challenging course visitors can play of forward tees.
