Knightswood Golf Course

Knightswood is a popular municipal course which is enjoying a reputation as one of the best value round of golf in the country.

Situated only four miles west of Glasgow city centre it is the perfect position for those who wish to combine a round of golf with a visit to Scotland’s most vibrant and largest city.

At 5, 584 yards for two rounds it’s a challenging 9-holer with a few decent holes. The first in particular is one to look forward to. It’s a 444 yard par-4, features out-of-bounds on the right and requires accuracy on approach as there are bunkers positioned to the front-left of the green, to the right and at the back.

Add to that dangerous concoction a green which slopes away from the approaching ball and you can probably appreciate why few players walk off this one with anything better than a par.
