Lanark golf club is the 25th oldest golf club in the world and recently celebrated its 160th birthday. Known for its smooth fast greens and natural moorland fairways its close proximity to Glasgow, Edinburgh and England make it a popular destination for locals and travelling groups on golf holidays.

The course itself is challenging affair for any golfer, especially when the winds pick up around the flat open fairways. A competition standard course, Lanark has hosted pre qualifying for the Open Championships on no less than 11 occasions.

The well stocked pro-shop run by professional golfer Alan White and the excellent bar and catering services await golfers when their round is complete with members and staff ensuring a warm welcome for any visitor this historic club.
