One of the most well-kept, council-run courses in the country Lethamhill boasts a wide variety of holes set alongside the beautiful Hogganfield Loch near Glasgow city centre.

A popular course with many visitors it’s tree-lined and undulating fairways demand accuracy from the first tee right through to the 18th green. Any wayward shots run the risk of being severly punished and as such length should not be your primary concern when playing round here.

Other features which have been implemented just to keep things interesting are areas of dense woodland and a number of blind tee shots so you may want to take a close look at the course card before setting off on your round.

Unlike many of the other municipal courses which can only be said to pose a modest test at best, Lethamhill will challenge every aspect of your game anyone who shoots below their handicap here is very much in the minority.

The area of Hogganfield Park is also worth a look as an area of Special Scientific Interest which has something for all the family.
