Situated at the foot of the Ochil Hills with a commanding outlook over the Forth Valley, Muckhart Golf Course offers challenging golf tempered with some spectacular scenery. The Club was founded over 90 years ago with the construction of the original nine holes. The course was upgraded to 18 holes in 1971 and a further nine holes have now been added to allow golfers of all levels a unique and memorable experience.

Each of the nine holes requires a different approach if they are to be tamed, demanding tactical awareness and a skillful touch with all the clubs in your bag. However, all this shouldn't detract from one of Muckhart's main features - the stunning vistas as viewed from the courses many vantage points. For example on the 5th tee you can look west down the Forth Valley and along the full length of the Ochil Hills and see Stirling Castle and the Wallace monument.

All three nines start and finish close to the Clubhouse wherein full facilities are on offer along with a fully licensed bar and excellent catering facilities. For visitors who bring along the family, there is always a warm welcome if they wish to spend some time in the comfortable lounge, watching sympathetically as the golfing members of their party valiantly attempt to conquer the eighteenth hole.
