A short drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow and situated in picturesque surroundings, Shotts Golf Club is an exceptional course with a first rate layout that provides a stern challenge for any golfer.

Founded in 1895 and re-developed by Kames Braid in 1936 the course wasn’t completed until 1949 and has moved location twice since then. Today’s course is full of lush fairways and receptive green that make for interesting play.

New players to the club should approach the fourth hole with caution, as “The Devils Elbow” is infamous for being one of the most challenging holes in Scottish golf and demands respect.
