Custom Fit Golf Equipment

You may be surprised to learn that many golfers put their faith in equipment that is completely unsuitable for them. Custom fitting can change all that in just 25 minutes.

Tiger Woods said in an interview in the States last year that a good place to start for club golfers who want to improve is to get a set of custom-fitted golf clubs.

That said, however, playing properly fitted golf clubs will not necessarily turn you into a better player overnight – but they will definitely improve your consistency and, as a result, your scoring. The ability to become a better player is entirely down to you and yet it is much easier to improve when you have the right equipment. Your ball striking, for example, will be far superior than before.

The finer details of custom fitting includes selecting the correct shaft in terms of weight and flex in relation to your swing speed, grip sizes, loft and lie angle. You can custom fit every club in the bag, from your big-headed driver, to your wedges and even your putter, the latter being one of the most important clubs to fit.

You can get custom fitted for brand new clubs at the following custom fit centres: Ping at the new St Andrews Golf Academy, Mizuno at its facility in Cumbernauld, Wilson Staff at the Wilson Staff factory in Irvine and for your putter via Yes! Golf (just click the links for more information).

Give custom fitting a try as soon as possible and see how your game measures up.
