Falmouth Golf Club

Under new ownership since 2004, this course occupies a magnificent clifftop setting, which manages to fuse a combination of links and parkland golf. The course overlooks Falmouth Bay and the bustling port of Falmouth in Cornwall and offers golfers a unique experience.

Popular demand saw owners make changes to the layout to make it more accessible to the average golfer while maintaining the challenge for the more highly skilled.

The fairways were cut wider, adjacent areas of rough thinned out and some internal out-of-bounds have been abolished in reconstruction which has been greatly praised by members and visitors alike.

Kept in top condition all year round, the club has built a reputation on having the best-kept greens in the southwest.

The front nine boasts some fantastic holes but is kept tight with balls lying in from parallel fairways.

The back nine proves an even better test and commands views across Falmouth and the sea.

The friendly clubhouse is worth visiting and the driving range provides a great place to hone your skills before playing.
