With a parkland course that possesses panoramic views across the surrounding scenic countryside and to the sea beyond, Alnwick Golf Club lies close to the quaint medieval market town of the same name. Originally conceived as nine-holes in 1907, the course was extended to 18 in 1995.

At 6,260 yards, the par-70 course is comprised of four par-3s, 12 par-4s, and two par-5s. The highlight of a round at Alnwick is the par-5 12th hole, affectionately known as ‘lang whang’, indicative of a hole that requires a daring drive over bunkers and around a dogleg that still leaves a 300-yard approach to the green.

Alnwick welcomes visitors midweek, though it is advisable to book in order to reserve your time amongst an active membership.
