Founded in 1912, Boldon Golf Club possess a long-established course that has delighted local golfers and those from farther afield for almost a century. Designed by Harry Vardon, the course at Boldon offers panoramic views of England’s North East coast and the cities of Newcastle and Sunderland.

18 distinctive holes span the relatively flat 6,348-yard, par-72 course. This is a classic parkland course that requires proficiency throughout the bag. Precision is required to avoid the course boundary that comes into play on several holes, while power is also rewarded at Boldon’s four par-5s.

Visitors can be assured of a warm welcome within the traditional clubhouse, converted from a 19th century country residence to provide modern, comfortable environment in which to reflect on a good day’s golf. Freshly prepared meals and a wide selection of beverages are on offer from the bar and restaurant, while there is also a snooker room for those who seek further entertainment.
