Casterton Golf Club

Nestled in the idyllic Cumbria countryside on the border of both Lancashire and Yorkshire, the nine-hole course at Casterton overlooks the quaint market town of Kirkby. The course is privately owned, and in recent years has been extensively renovated to present one of the area’s most enjoyable challenges.

Casterton opens with a demanding par-4 that takes advantage of the naturally undulating parkland landscape. Shrubbery and other small flora often present obstacles close to greens, though the course remains accessible for golfers of all abilities. The underlying limestone terrain provides excellent drainage, meaning Casterton is open for play year-round.

A modernized clubhouse offers an inviting atmosphere in which to enjoy a post-round drink or meal. Visitors are welcome to use the changing and shower facilities also. The club shop stocks the best in equipment and apparel, with hire items such as readily available. Casterton is delighted to host visitng parties and golf societies, with packages available to match any occasion. It is recommended to book in advance so as to avoid disappointment.
