Founded in 1887, Durham City is one of the oldest inland golf clubs in England. The club has had residence at no fewer than three courses in its long history, relocating to the secluded present day layout at Littleburn in 1974. Situated in the village of Langley Moor, Durham City is a meadowland course situated on the banks of the River Browney, a tranquil setting in which to enjoy a pleasurable game of golf. At 6,321 yards over 18 challenging holes, the course at Durham City presents a challenge to golfers of every level. Holes are weaved through avenues of trees towards greens that rise and fall naturally with the undulations of the surrounding landscape.

Visitors are welcome to relax in the comfort of the well-appointed clubhouse, from where views of the course are provided through full-length windows. A selection of freshly prepared meals and beverages are available to be consumed while reflecting upon a challenging day’s golf. It is recommended that visitors book their tee-time in advance to ensure their preferred slot.
