Grange over Sands Golf Club carries a delightful countryside and coastal ambience, with stunning views of the surrounding woods and open countryside. The course itself is a fair par 70, constructed in the 1920's between what was then the main road between Kendal and Grange over Sands on one side, and the south lakes coastal railway between barrow and Lancaster on the other. Grange club houselooks across the course to the Lake District hills and flowering shrubs and daffadils provide a variety of colour throughout the year. Meanwhile the local town, Grange over sands, is a popular resort for many visitors to north east England.
