A reasonably flat parkland course alongside the River Coquet, Rothbury has a fine history and a worthy course to match. Lying to the South West of the town, the course is a scenic and challenging 18 hole undulating tract situated on flat land adjacent to the river coquet, clubhouse and course command scenic views of the coquet valley towards the cheviot hills.
The course is well maintained by two full-time greenkeepers and contains the visual challenges of bunkers, ponds, and trees planted in the rough between holes, and although not yet mature, are developing well.
Visitors and societies always welcome.
