Address: Bardsea Park, Ulverston, Cumbria, LA12 9QJ

Fortunate enough to boast some of the most scenic views in Cumbria, the course at Ulverston Golf Club is also one of the most enjoyable. Located close to the charming market village of Bardsea to the south of the Lake District, the course at Ulverston overlooks picturesque Morecambe Bay from its vantage point amongst the Furniss Hills. Established in 1910, and redesigned by H.S. Colt in 1924, the course at Ulverston Golf Club flows naturally over its hillside terrain through avenues of mature trees, between shrubbery and over hazardous rocky outcrops.

At 6,201-yards in length, the par-71 parkland course, requires proficiency throughout the bag in order to be conquered. Precision is required to find greens often well guarded by bunkers, with accurate approach play enabled by regularly finding fairways flanked by woodland.

Visitors to the clubhouse at Ulverston Golf Club are always afforded a warm welcome and invited to make use of the full facilities. The well-appointed bar and lounge provide the ideal environment in which to reflect upon a thoroughly pleasurable dayís golf at one of Cumbriaís hidden gems.
