Kettering Golf Club

The legendary Tom Morris originally conceived the course at Kettering Golf Club as nine holes over land rented from the Duke of Buccleuch. Now an 18-hole layout on the same site, Kettering is one of the oldest golf clubs in the Midlands, founded in 1891. Situated on the town of Kettering’s south edge, the course is easily accessible from the A43 and A14.

A parkland layout over woodland terrain, the course at Kettering is a challenging yet rewarding venue. Measuring 6,057 yards from the gent’s tees and 5,444 from the ladies’, Kettering is refreshing in its accessibility for golfers of all levels. The 16th hole represents the pinnacle of the challenge at Kettering; a 453-yard par-4, it requires two solid strikes around a sharp dogleg right to reach a green that slopes sharply from front to back. An imaginative short game is usually required to emerge with a par 4. Visitors are invited to enjoy a refreshing beverage and freshly prepared meal in the well-appointed clubhouse.
