Set within the boundary of Newbury racecourse, this venue has something for every sport lover. After a morning’s golf why not while away your afternoon by enjoying some great racing action at this world-famous steeplechase circuit.

This course is something unique in that 12 of its 18 holes are situated within the centre of the racetrack, but perhaps even stranger is that despite its location it has a distinct links feel while remaining parkland in places.

The last six holes are currently benefiting from an extensive planting programme which is now reaching maturity, that coupled with the water hazards which feature throughout the course, it’s enough to make even the most accomplished golfers tremble with fear on the tee.

The course is by no means short and with a yardage of 6552 being straight with the drive may not be enough to secure a good score. But worry not, Newbury is also home to the only undercover, floodlit driving range in the Berkshire area, so you’ll have ample opportunity to get a bit of practice in before facing off against the course.
