Feltwell Golf Club

Feltwell is an inland links-style course and is the very best of its kind. The course used to exist on a temporary basis as it sat on land adjacent to the MOD. However, after a buy-out in the mid-1980’s, long and medium term objectives were set, including the removal of concrete missile launch sites.

There are no water hazards on this layout but the majority of the greens are protected by bunkers, and they provide test enough. Always impeccably maintained, members and visitors alike count it a privilege to putt on such well-manicured greens.

Although the course is strictly speaking a nine-holer, each hole is played from differed tee boxes to add variation to the round, which transforms the challenge on the back nine.

The fairways are lush and the wind does play a big part on this course, particularly due to its inland links nature.

The new clubhouse was opened for business in 2002 and the old RAF barrack style clubhouse was demolished to herald a new era at this refreshing and progressive club.
