Founded in 1890, St Neots is one of the oldest courses in the county. A new nine hole course was built by Harry Vardon at Crosshall Farm in 1912 and that has been the club’s home ever since.

In 1962, the club bought the land north of the River Kym and by 1966 they had added another nine holes to complete the full course and open it for business in 1968. By 1979 plans were being actively considered to provide an entirely new clubhouse, which was built in stages from 1982 and 1987.

The course is picturesque and testing with superb society facilities and hospitality. The fourth hole is a particular favourite. The long par-5 features a dogleg left and normally plays into the wind so a straight drive is required.
