Cobtree Manor Golf Club

This public pay and play course provides a developed parkland layout with a mix of many mature trees and even more new plantings.

Located in 50 acres of parkland, the undulating course has some interesting holes including the 12th where you must play over the lake and the new 15th hole. The original 18-hole course contained many challenging and appealing holes but a redesign in 1994 and was cut by almost 200 yards.

Higher handicappers and beginners can play this course pretty comfortably but must beware of hazards, which can add a twist to your round.

Accuracy off the tee is also key to a good scoring round here and the back nine offers shots over water as well as awkwardly placed ditches on surrounding holes. The only par-5 is reachable in two for long hitters but for others the large hill and ditch-guarded green make it a tougher job.

You can always expect a warm welcome at Cobtree and the clubhouse facilities provide everything you could possibly want or expect from a golf club.
