Certainly the similarities are there, not least in the presence of dominant, magnificent oak trees that are an imposing sight for any golfer preparing to play towards them.

Cranleigh also has a significant number of water hazards, complimenting its tree-lined fairways, and, along with the strategically placed bunkers, they provide an added dimension of difficulty to the course.
