The championship standard golf course at Caversham Heath, in the middle of the beautifully scenic Oxford and Berkshire countryside is a fine example of a well-maintained, well-tended to course. It is fully irrigated allowing for virtually all year round playability, with extraordinary dryness during the winter season. The marvellous practice facilities also lean heavily towards short-game development, with a target green, bunkers and a fabulous putting area.

Be wary of the seventeenth hole, a tricky little par three that can haul back a couple of strokes from you. The approach to the green is guarded by a large pond so avoid under-hitting from the tee if possible, and perhaps even open your clubface slightly to be sure of missing the bunkers to the green's left.
