New Forest Golf Club

Come to New forest and enjoy a game among those Peter Alliss described as “the real people of golf”. It’s a club which had overcome adversity to become what it is today; New Forest was about to close when Peter Swann a professional golfer, fell in love with course and decided to buy and set about its development.

Today, there is a fine testing 18-hole golf course, a modern Clubhouse with a range of amenities, a healthy membership and a most popular venue for visitors.

Set out in a typical stretch of the New Forest near the village of Lyndhurst, from which its name derives, the club has an unrivalled reputation amongst visitors as the most welcoming of golfing destinations.

The new course is laid-out on fine parkland and plays host to some tricky holes with well bunkered greens. It benefits from a state of the art irrigation system, which makes it playable virtually all year round.

Although though fairly short by today’s standards at only 5800 yards, there’s ample opportunity for the big hitters among us to really let rip.
