Oaksey Park Golf Club

Located only five miles south-west of Chicester in the heart of the Cotswolds, Oaksey offers more than just a pleasant round of golf. If you’re looking for a full-on fun day out search no further than this parkland venue.

This fairly young course, opened in 1991, was designed by Chapman and Warren and comprises nine holes. It comes with a par of 35, so it's a little unlike most nine-holers in that it does lay claim to a par five.

Shot selection is the most important feature of your game if you’re looking to score well here. The course, which is affected by crosswinds, rewards accuracy off the tee, particularly at the difficult sixth, whereas sheer power is the order of the day at the par-5 fifth.

The club now also boasts a new clubhouse, built in 2004, which offers stunning views of the 96 acre course from the raised balcony on the second floor and a state of the art kitchen turning out fantastic meals at all times of the day.
