The Players Golf Club

Home to three golf courses, The Player’s Club is one of the South West’s finest golfing venues. Opened in 2002, the championship Codrington course at the Players Club has quickly garnered a reputation as one of the most difficult courses in the region. Golf World ranked the Codrington course as the 113th ‘best course in Great Britain and Ireland’, quite an achievement for such a young layout.

From the back tees visitors can expect a true test of their ball striking ability with the Codrington measuring over 7,200 yards; its length and complexity reflected in the SSS of 73. However, a range of tee options makes the Codrington accessible and enjoyable for golfers of all abilities.

The lush rustic-style Players Club clubhouse was constructed in 2004. Fitted with a luxurious modern interior, the clubhouse serves an extensive selection of freshly prepared meals and refreshing beverages to be enjoyed in the lounge fantastic vantage point overlooking the Codrington course’s 18th green. Golf societies are welcome at the Players Club, where six private function rooms can easily accommodate larger groups.

The Players Club asks that visitors pre-book their game so as to avoid disappointment.
