Originally designed by the famous course designer Dr Mackenzie the course at Walsall is a fairly flat "easy-walking" tract. The course remains true to Mackenzie's original design, although an extensive tree-planting programme over the last fifty years sees a course that is quite narrow with numerous strategically placed bunkers. Accuracy on both your drives and second shots is the only way to score well on this test.

The clubhouse boasts a reputation for first-class catering and an excellent wine list - an ideal venue then for relaxing after your round.
