This well-kept parkland course is a challenging and demanding 10-holer. The 1993 established club is located four miles north of Warrington and boasts breathtaking views of the tranquil Cheshire countryside.

The glorious backdrop does not overshadow the course itself, however, as it provides a considerably demanding test of golf skills for players of all capabilities. It is relatively flat which proves rewarding to the beginner.

Practice makes perfect, and Alder Root certainly put much emphasis on perfecting your game, providing a putting green and considerable practice ground to try before heading out to test yourself on the course.

The extremely hard working grounds staff ensure that the course is playable almost all year round and keep the greens in great condition.

There is also a friendly and welcoming clubhouse for you to kick back in after a round which commands excellent views of the course and practice areas for you to pick up some tips on how it should, or shouldn’t be done.

The club also offers extremely popular golf lessons for adults and juniors.
