Gatley golf course, set against the beautiful
backdrop of the spectacular Cheshire countryside is a nine-hole course
that can be played as an eighteen-hole, the par for that being 68. Measuring
only 5934 yards, it is not the longest course in the district, but is
nonetheless challenging, with its clever array of strategically placed
and unforgiving hazards.
Visitors are welcome to play on Mondays, Wednesdays
and Thursdays, but with a membership of over 400, the club is often busy
so it is always a good idea to book in advance to be sure of getting a
game.
Societies are welcome on Thursdays only, and
the club offers a full catering service to attend to their needs, but
they can only play by prior arrangement.
