It is difficult to imagine that the green oasis of Houldsworth Golf Club exists on the approach through the residential area of reddish but indeed it does. Surrounded by houses and a disused railway it provides a haven for both golfers and wildlife with a majestic clubhouse and four excellent new holes. Major features of the course consists of water hazards, strategically placed bunkers and a par 3, 7th tee which runs frighteningly close to the houses!
At just 326 yards the 8th tests accuracy rather than distance and with the well kept undulating greens providing a real challenge Houldsworth Golf Course will test the most discerning golfer. Staff at Houldsworth are friendly and welcoming and the club with its changing facilities, snooker table, value for money food and full bar services will welcome visitors and societies all year round.
