Wirral Ladies occupies a unique and important place in golfing history. Known the World over as the only course to be designed especially for women, and the only club with an executive largely made up of women.

Opened in 1894 as a reaction to the standards of the time which meant women were forbidden from joining so-called ‘gentlemen’s clubs’, it has since opened its doors to the less-fair sex who now enjoy all the course has to offer.

At just over 5000 yards this is the perfect venue for those who want to take in a round in under three hours, an important consideration for those who want to put their membership to full use while carrying on with their busy lifestyles.

Designed by H Hilton the course itself is also regarded as an excellent test for enthusiasts that are just starting their adventure into the game of golf, but don’t let that put off the more seasoned golfers out there – there are more than enough hazards here to worry even the best of us.
