Bulwell Forest Golf Club

Noted for being the oldest golf club in Nottingham, golf has been played at Bulwell Park since the 1870s, although the club has only existed in its present state since 1902. Set on mature heathland, it sprawls across undulating countryside and has many tight fairways, old trees and excellently manicured greens. Five demanding par 3s significantly increase the challenge of playing the course. It is certainly not a long course - measuring 5572 yards from the yellow tees - but it a challenge that the thinking-man will love.

The clubhouse is a listed building and so tradition is well preserved at the club. Extra facilities it offers include changing rooms, showers and a drying room, a novel idea taking into consideration the harsh, British climate.
