Kibworth Golf Club

Set in the very heart of scenic Leicestershire, Kibworth is acknowledged and respected as a tough but fair test for golfers of all abilities.

The club was opened in 1904 before relocating in 1962, a move which has seen the club become one of the premier golfing destinations in the region.

Laid out in two loops of nine holes, each terminating at the clubhouse, the course is set among copses of native trees, which line many fairways and come to bear when playing for position on several holes.

As does the strategically placed brook, which meanders its way through the course, influencing play on 8 holes and ensuring players think their way through the round - opting to go for broke or the more conservative lay-up, depending on the way the scoring is going.

With a par-71 and length of 6,354 it’s no simple walk in the park-land but with a fairly flat lay-out, and a few shorter holes thrown in for good measure, you’ll find it doesn’t wear too heavy on the legs and allows for full concentration on the shot in hand.
