Bacup Golf Club is a course that seems to be loved by anyone who plays it, in whatever conditions and at whatever time in the year. It is a nine-hole moorland course with, what some believe, are the finest putting surfaces in all of East Lancashire.

The toughest hole on at Bacup is probably the dogleg par four 16th where an accurate tee shot is required, followed by a good fairway wood (or long iron if you think you can reach) to a rolling, hard to read green.

Visitors can sit back and relax in the clubhouse and ponder the day's events with a 'nippie sweetie' and, perhaps, a bite to eat.
