Established as a nine-hole course in 1907, the course at Lees Hall Golf Club in Sheffield was extended to 18 holes 4 years later. With views over the city, Lees Hall provides a scenic environment in which to test your golfing skills.

Designed by Alex Herd, 1902 Open champion, the course is an interesting combination of parkland and meadowland characteristics. 6,171 yards in length, the par-71 layout requires thoughtful course management and precision rather than power. The most challenging hole is the par-4 13th, which at 449 yards from the back tee demands two pure strikes to reach a heavily bunkered green. More often than not, an imaginative short game and craft with the putter are necessary to emerge with a par 4.

Lees Hall Golf Club are delighted to host and golf societies, with a dedicated function room ideal for larger groups. Visitors are welcome at Lees Hall Golf Club throughout the year, though are advised to book in advance with the club secretary so as to ensure their preferred tee-time.
