This championship standard course occupies a majestic position in Idyllic Yorkshire. Designed by renowned golf course architect Major Charles Mackenzie it offers a rich variety of holes and a mature parkland setting for a challenging round of golf for players of all abilities.

The 6,456 yard, par-71 course has in the past played host to a number of prestigious golfing events, including county matches and English Ladies Golf Association tournaments which should give you some indication of the test that awaits you here.

Continuing the connection between the course and its magnificent setting, the names of ther holes reflect its natural features, starting with the formidable opener the Jubilee Oak and moving on to Badger’s Wood , Hawthorns, Poplars and Forest Hill to name just a few.

But don’t be duped by it’s rustic charm, the course has proved in the past to be more than the match for some of the most seasoned golfers among us and has a few stings in its tail as the round goes along, as the aptly named Witches Green suggests.
