It is really hard to believe this course is situated only six miles from Liverpool city centre. As you make your way around its 18 immensely challenging holes, the bustling centre of city life couldn’t feel further away.
It was founded in 1901, and measures 5724 yards but can play a lot longer from tee to green depending on the mood of the wind. An undulating parkland course its tight tree-lined fairways and well bunkered greens will prove enough to keep you on your toes.
Accuracy is tested throughout with out of bounds featuring on 5 holes and as a result you may well to consider taking something less than the driver from the tee.
If you make it to the end you can be sure to receive fantastic service in the Georgian clubhouse from their award winning staff. It’s a magnificent setting for golf and one that shouldn’t be missed out on.
