Balbirnie Park is a fine example of the best in traditional parkland design - the natural contours being the inspiration behind the design.

Situated in Markinch near Glenrothes and set within 140 acres of superb woodland, this beautiful layout was opened in 1983, with a par of 71 and measuring 6,200 yards from the gent's tees. It is a good challenge for golfers of all abilities. The course has hosted many P.G.A events including the Scottish Assistants Championship (1997 - 1999) - further evidence that the course facilities and warm hospitality are second to none.

The new professional's shop was opened in 1998 and stocks one of the biggest selections of competitively priced equipment in Fife. No need to buy prizes elsewhere - give the shop a call and they will gladly put aside whatever you require. With its close proximity to St. Andrews, the cradle of golf, Balbirnie Park is the ideal venue for the visiting golfer.
