Comrie Golf course is situated in the most
beautiful part of Perthshire on the A85, and close to the village. The course
consists of nine holes with magnificent views over the Strathearn valley. There
are some notable par three holes, the third and the fifth, which requires a good
accurate tee shot to reach the green. The ninth tee shot is played through an
avenue of trees. The greens are always in excellent condition, and the club is
proud of the quality of the course for playing golf. Golfers of all abilities
will find it a challenging experience to play Comrie golf course. There is a practice
net and putting green.
 The
clubhouse is small with a friendly atmosphere and visitors are always made welcome.
Meals and snacks are served during the summer months, but the club does not have
a bar. There is no professional, but we have the essentials such as golf balls
and tees on sale as well as clubs and trolley cars available for hire. There are
a number of good hotels in the village and Comrie Golf club welcomes visiting
parties.
Families
are catered for in a number of ways. Children can play golf at most times, and
dogs can be taken on the course with a lead. There are interesting woodland walks
around the course for the non-playing visitor to enjoy. Shopping can be done in
the village or in Crieff. Comrie Golf Club presents a leisurely way to play your
golf, as well as presenting a challenge to everyone wishing to play seriously.
