Cupar Golf Club is located on the outskirts of Cupar Village on Cermes Road near the cemetery. Overseas visitors are regularly to be found at the course due to the fact that it is the oldest continuous nine hole golf course in the world. Being only fifteen minutes from St Andrews this course is definitely worth a visit.

The course itself is a rolling hilly parkland course that sits perched upon the Hill of Tarvit offering great views over Cupar. The 1st hole, a par 3, massages you gently into the round while the par 3 9th allows you to finish your round with comfort. Beware however the treacherous par 4 5th, with its sloped fairway and tricky undulating green. Although only 391 yards a local single figure handicapped golfer managed to take 17 recently.

The clubhouse has room for 50 and the friendly bar staff will only be too keen to help make your stay an enjoyable one. Visitors can enjoy a drink and a snack at most times and relax in the pleasant surroundings.
