Address:
Rollo Park, Station Road, Dunning, Perthshire, PH2 ORH
A golf course steeped in history, Dunning has grown to become one of the finest 9-hole courses in Scotland. Originally opened in 1907, the current clubhouse was opened in 1954 by Lord Rollo, who gifted the Alley Park site and remains Honorary President to this day. Situated on the site of ancient Pictish and Roman settlements, players are reminded of the historic significance of the location as the course winds by the Rossie Law iron-age fort. The golf club has since established a history of its own, as is evidenced by the four unique bridges named after past Dunning Golf Club members. The bridges span the Dunning burn that flows through the course providing a repeated hazard. Lush, indigenous trees line narrow fairways that ought to be found to help players avoid the strategically placed bunkers that surround many of the greens. Views of the scenic Ochil Hills and surrounding landscape towards Gleneagles are a constant, welcome companion throughout your round. Happily, the quality of the scenery is matched by the quality of a most enjoyable course. Facilities Directions Advance Bookings |
