Delightfully situated at the entrance to the
Angus Glens in the foothills of the Grampians, Edzell is renowned for the quality
of its turf and true greens. Accuracy is rewarded as out of bounds threatens on
several holes-none more so than the 15th with out of bounds on both sides of the
fairway.
 Originally
heathland, the course has a parkland feel to it as a result of a tree planting
programme over the past 25 years. After a gentle start, the second hole poses
a severe test, a 446 yard par 4 with out of bounds on the right and behind the
green. The second shot is played blind over a ridge to a bunkered green. At the
9th, the river West Water comes into play and must be avoided is par is to be
acheived.
Concentartion
is required throughout your round as the scenery provides a distraction at very

north on the A90, take the B966 one mile north of Brechin bypass. Continue 3.5
miles to the village of Edzell. The entrance to the club is left after the arch.
