Falkland Golf Club

Opened in 1975 this nine hole golf course is situated in the quiet village of Falkland beneath the East Lomomd Hills. The course itself is relatively flat and is characterised by the several burns that wander calmly through the course.

Despite being only nine holes Falkland is no push over. The courses signature hole is the courses only par 5. A long hole where position is far more important than length and where a good approach shot is essential if the bunkers protecting the green are not to be hit.

On a course that is relatively flat the par 3 8th provides the courses biggest challenge. Playing to a bunker protected tiered green; the hole is made even harder by the out of bounds to the left and back of the green.

Small but welcoming, the clubhouse is a warm and friendly place where parties can enjoy a good selection of food and drink with the locals ensuring that visitors receive a kind greeting.
