Kenmore Golf Course was opened in 1992 on converted farm land in the heart of highland Perthshire by the banks of the Silvery Tay. The design of the golf course was quite straight forward as the landscape was, almost unbelievably, perfect for a good quality golf course. The mildly undulating fields, the natural mounds with mature Scots pine and the ditch and Dyke boundaries allowed the layout to follow and utilizes the natural features.

The course at 6052 yards is no pushover. The par 5 fourth is 560 yards and only one of the par 4's is under 400 yards. The second is however one of the nicest holes you could imagine. Teeing up and hitting out of a mound of trees down a snaking fairway which banks encouraging the ball to keep on the fairway and the green is slightly elevated surrounded by banks to help hold the ball on the green.

The course is a fair test of golf in magnificent surroundings. The fairways are generous and the rough kept short to encourage an unhindered round. The clubhouse and changing rooms are converted 19th century farm buildings and are tastefully furnished. There are self catering cottages adjacent to the course and an excellent caravan and camping park nearby. Kenmore hotel is in the village and there are a number of other hotels and B&B's in the area.
