Kinghorn is a traditional links course with magnificent views over the Firth of Fourth. There can be few golf course in the world with such Panoramic Views. The course has a SSS of 66 and is a challenge for golfers of all standards. There are small but consistently well tended green which put a premium on accurate iron play.There are changing facilities in the pavillion next to the first tee, and the club has a seperate clubhouse which will offer catering to parties

Try the 6th or 15th hole which is a par 5 dominated by the presence of Loch Lanlish where the fish jump and the ducks swim and the decision has to be made to play over the loch and hope for a birdie or play round and settle for par. Durness offers rewarding golf in friendly surroundings and in the high season snacks are available in the comfortable clubhouse. Trolley hire and clubhire are also available.
