Founded in 1909 by Captain John Malcolm, Strathtay encompasses everything that is great about Scottish golf and scenery. Set in the heart of the Perthshire countryside, Strathtay is a majestic inland course with some epic views of the Perthshire hillside.

It may only be 9-holes long but with two different tee shots for each hole it plays like a full 18, with each tee offering a different shade to each hole.

Highlights include the par-3 third, so named the Copse for its unique layout and difficulty. Indeed the unwary visitor could be forgiven the question as to where lies the green? It shelters subtly behind a massive group of oak trees.
