Address: Chapel Road, Tain, Ross-shire, IV19 1JE

Designed by Old Tom Morris in 1890, Tain Golf Club is a traditional Scottish Highland links, the pedigree of which has been recognized in its selection as host of the 2012 Scottish Ladies Amateur Championship. With sublime views of the Dornoch Firth and the Easter Ross countryside, the scenic local landscape is a companion throughout your round. At 6,404 yards from the white tees, the par-70 course tests every aspect of a player’s game. In particular, gorse-lined fairways demand accuracy from the tee.

The modern clubhouse, built in 1998, is fully accessible for visitors. Players can relax amidst the comfort and hospitality of the bar and lounge while watching their fellow golfers play the final hole.

Sutherand and Ross-shire boast some of Scotland’s finest classic links and scenic parkland courses, and Tain is the ideal base for a golfing tour of the Highlands. The immediate area has a wide selection of accommodation to suit any budget, and Tain Golf Club would be happy to assist with the booking of your accommodation if required.
